Yelp Reviews

Great food, awesome service, and cozy atmosphere.
The 2 appetizers that came with our meal was amazing.  Agedashi tofu and their version of a caprese salad. Choices of 3 different soups were all exceptional. The vichyssoise was a cold cream soup that was perfect for today's warm weather, the minestrone soup and bone in pork miso soup was also tasty. Main dishes were great, a little bit on the firm side but it was yummy. Def will come back again for dinner which is tailored more for an adult atmosphere (per our server).

Seiya and his team did a wonderful and heartfelt job of sharing this culinary experience with us, their customers.  My colleague and I were the first customers to inaugurate the bar seating, which provides a good view of the open kitchen and the food coming through the pass. The menu is creative, with meaningful Japanese/Korean accents. Of note, the torched wagyu sashimi roll with Santa Barbara uni was well balanced, bright, and set a great stage for later dishes. Of the balance, one stand out was the bone marrow bibimbap: This was absolutely unctuous without being overly heavy. This was an unexpected and delicious find in Honolulu, with reasonable price points. Will definitely be back.

We walked into an unexpected hidden gem. As you walk in the atmosphere is calm and quiet, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is very clean and neat. We had the daily special which was just the right amount for flavor and portions. The minestrone soup with Portuguese sausages was very savory, and complimented the special with chicken and kale.
